Loneliness

The feeling of loneliness is a wonderful opportunity, a mirror of our life. We already know that our current reality is a reflection of our inner self. But do we really understand this ? If we do, loneliness becomes a blessing. Loneliness lets us listen to the content of our silence. Does it feel nurturing ? Are our actions getting us closer or further away from our life mission ? What is the state of our life mission? When was the last time that we looked into it? Do we use our life mission as the driver or our daily decisions? Loneliness is the much needed opportunity to see how effective we have been at keeping balance within ourselves. It shows us the quality of the choices we have been making. Sometimes it shows us that we don't even think we have choices, then there's the need to clear our spiritual quarters. We've been creating the quality of our lives by making choices; by deciding, moment by moment. Maybe we have stopped being aware, and our choices have become automated responses... The space of aloneness lets us ponder. If we need the presence of others to remind us that we are worthy of love or company, we're seeking the wrong proof in the wrong places. Frequently people call "loneliness" their desire for someone to "love them" romantically, physically, or wholly. They confuse their longing for meaning with loneliness. When we feel lonely again, let's look at our motives. There may be a certain convenience about it, for "loneliness" can be a good hiding place from taking responsibility for the quality of our choices, which determines the state of our lives.
